SHV Coaxial Connector – Product Overview
The SHV (Safe High Voltage) coaxial connector is a 50Ω safety-engineered RF interface designed for high-voltage systems, compliant with IEC 60370 and MIL-C-39012 standards. Its reverse bayonet coupling and extended PTFE insulation enforce a ground-first, signal-last mating sequence, eliminating arc flash and electric shock risks during live handling. It is the industry benchmark for reliable, fail-safe high-voltage interconnection.

Primary Applications
- Scientific Research: Particle accelerator beam steering, fusion reactor bias feeds, UHV diagnostic probes.
- Medical Equipment: X-ray tube HV supplies, CT gantry slip rings, MRI gradient amplifier outputs.
- Semiconductor Manufacturing: Plasma etch electrode bias, ion implanter extraction supplies, wafer chuck HV control.
- Industrial Test & Measurement: Hipot tester outputs, partial discharge detection, insulation resistance probes.
- Power Electronics: SiC/GaN module isolation monitoring, snubber circuit sensing, DC-link voltage feedback.
- Defense & Aerospace: Radar modulator pulse transformers, electro-optic sensor bias, EMP simulation fixtures.
Critical Safety Notice: Never cross-mate SHV with BNC, N, or TNC connectors. Inspect insulation and contacts before every use. Only use Hi-Pot tested, certified components. Non-compliant substitutes risk catastrophic failure and personal injury.
