Screw the connector clockwise firmly until it is tight, ensuring a secure connection without looseness. Do not over-tighten to avoid damaging the connector.
Step 4: Connect the Output End (F Female Connector)
Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the F Female connector of the lightning arrestor, and the other end to the target
equipment (such as TV, satellite receiver, or cellular router). Similarly, screw the connector clockwise firmly to ensure a stable connection.
Step 5: Grounding (Critical Step)
For effective surge protection, the lightning arrestor must be properly grounded. Locate the grounding terminal on the lightning arrestor (if equipped) and connect a grounding wire (recommended wire gauge: 14-16 AWG) to it. The other end of the grounding wire should be connected to a proper grounding point, such as a dedicated grounding rod, building grounding system, or other qualified grounding devices. Ensure the grounding connection is firm and the grounding wire is not damaged or broken.
Step 6: Test the System
After completing the installation, turn on the power of the connected equipment and check the signal quality. For TV/CATV systems, check if the TV picture is clear and free of snowflakes; for cellular systems, check if the signal strength is normal. If there is no signal or poor signal quality, check the connections again to ensure they are tight and correct.

* Ensure all connectors are tightened firmly to prevent signal loss and poor surge protection performance.
