This square housing GDT gas discharge RF surge arrester adopts N female bulkhead jack to N male plug interface with standard 50 Ohm impedance, supporting full frequency coverage from DC to 3GHz for civilian wireless communication feeder lightning protection. It integrates high-performance replaceable gas discharge tube as core surge suppression component, which rapidly diverts lightning induced overvoltage and electrostatic surge energy to ground to shield transceivers, routers, GPS receivers and base station equipment from burnout damage. The solid square brass housing is precisely CNC machined with flat side panels for optimized internal GDT layout, precise impedance calibration and low parasitic interference, delivering ultra-low VSWR and tiny insertion loss across the full 3GHz bandwidth. Nickel-plated outer shell and gold-plated center contact pins provide outstanding anti-corrosion and low-resistance signal conduction, while built-in PTFE dielectric maintains stable insulation under high-frequency and surge impact. Equipped with a dedicated ground lug on the flat square surface, it achieves large-area tight grounding with metal poles, cabinets and grounding bars for efficient surge dissipation. The bulkhead N female port comes with sealing O-ring for panel through-wall installation, paired with threaded N male plug for vibration-proof antenna feeder connection. Widely applied for outdoor cellular antennas, WiFi access points, GPS positioning systems, amateur radio equipment and indoor DAS distributed antenna wiring projects.
